Annita Ilunga is a gospel artist, songwriter, evangelist, wife, mother, and social entrepreneur. Married to Dr. Serge Katshunga, she is the proud mother of Ella-Seran and Eli-Anail.
Beyond ministry, she is a professional engineer, medical missionary, and co-owner of Seran Wellness and various enterprises. Her life is a beautiful blend of worship, purpose, and service, all for the glory of God.
Driven by a deep love for the Lord and a heart for people, Annita is passionate about empowering others to live a life that reflects a taste of heaven on earth. She believes in holistic wellbeing, often quoting the bible verse, “Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.” Through her music, ministry, and entrepreneurship, she inspires and equips those around her to walk in faith, embrace their purpose, and experience freedom enjoying life here on earth while preparing awaiting the glorious return of Jesus Christ.
Annita’s music journey began in sorrow. After losing her beloved father, Honorable Annaclet Ilunga, she grieved deeply in the presence of the Lord, seeking answers from God. In the stillness of mourning, God met her, transforming her pain into purpose and her tears into songs of hope. Her father had been a remarkable example to her, a holy man of God whose life was perfectly modeled after Jesus Christ. Through his unwavering faith, integrity, and devotion, he instilled in Annita a deep love for God and a passion for living a life of purpose. From that divine encounter, Annita Ilunga Ministries was born, carrying forward a legacy of worship and service rooted in God’s presence and her father’s example.
In April 2023, at a powerful ceremony in Melrose Arch (Johannesburg), Annita Ilunga Ministries was officially launched. Annita received the spiritual blessing of her mentors and parents in the faith, Apostle Shiko Apwam and Dr. Francine Apwam, marking the start of a ministry dedicated to faith, creativity, and transformation.
Since then, the ministry has grown touching lives through music festivals, youth programs, and community outreach in South Africa and the D.R. Congo.
Annita’s musical journey has led to the release of her single, “Joyful Sounds” from her upcoming album “From Mourning to Joy” and the hosting of inspiring praise and worship events such as “Feast With The Lord,” the “Shine Your Light” competition, and impactful “Youth Talk Shows.”
